The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is one of the most prestigious cricket clubs in the United Kingdom and the most successful team in the history of English cricket with 31 titles.

The Requirements

YCCC approached us to scope, design and develop their new website within a very tight deadline. The scoping process showed that an incredibly high proportion of visitors to the existing YCCC website were arriving from mobile devices and were not getting an enjoyable experience.

Design and Development

We designed and built a new responsive website catering to this audience with a flexible grid that realigns depending on the screen size ensuring that users get the best experience.

Match Day Mode

Match Day Mode transforms the homepage into a powerful live scorecard on game days featuring the overall score, who’s batting, who’s bowling, amount of runs, balls played, and even what the weather is like.

Total Integration

We also integrated the shop and ticket purchasing systems into one simple login making it much easier for cricket fans to buy tickets and other merchandise. All built into our content management system Expose, YCCC can update their content, news and fixtures with ease.
